1963 World Netball Championships
The first-ever World Netball Championships in 1963 were held in England, with all games played at the Chelsea College of Physical Education, in Eastbourne on the south coast of England.
A total of 11 national teams competed in a round-robin format. The winning team was Australia over New Zealand.
