World Cup — The IBAF World Cup is an international baseball tournament which has was held from 1938 to 2011.

World Baseball Classic — an international baseball tournament started in 2006. It is the first major baseball tournament to feature professional players from the major leagues around the world including the MLB.

Olympics — baseball has long been played at the Olympic Games, mostly as a demonstration sport. In 1992 it became an official sport, but then dropped from the official program after the 2008 Olympics.
