Videos of Beep Test Variations
The beep test, or bleep or 20m shuttle run test, is one of the most commonly performed fitness test. Here are examples of variations of the test that have appeared on youtube. Here are some Italians performing an earlier version of the beep test (or they just have a poor sense of direction!).
This group of athletes are doing what they call the Interval Shuttle Run Test. The test looks like a variation of the beep test. Notice the markers a couple of meters before the turning line, which is used to indicate the area which they must be in when it beeps otherwise they get a failure warning.
