2007 World Netball Championships
In 2007, Suva, Fiji was scheduled to host the tournament but was stripped of the right as a result of the December 2006 coup. Hosting rights were subsequently awarded to New Zealand, who became the first country to host the event three times. The competition date moved from July to November 2007.
A total of 16 national teams competed. The winning team was Australia.
