Colombia at the Copa América

The Copa América is the international championships contested among national teams from South America. Colombia is one of the 10 CONMEBOL nations and is a regular participant in the tournament. Colombia first played in the Copa America in 1945.

In the 2001 Copa América tournament, Colombia set a record of not just being undefeated but not conceding any goal and winning each and every match. It is Colombia only Copa America win.

In 2024, in the semi-final, Colombia beat Uruguay to earn a place in the final. In the Final, Colombia were beaten by defending champions Argentina, 1-0.
