1924 Copa América in Uruguay
The 1924 Copa América was held in Uruguay. It was the 8th edition of the tournament.
The tournament saw the participation of the four CONMEBOL nations—Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, and Uruguay.
The event was conducted in a round-robin format, where each team faced the others once, and Uruguay emerged as the winner by finishing at the top of the standings, claiming their fifth Copa América title.
Trivia
- At the time the tournament was named the South American Championship. It was not called the Copa América until after 1967.
