1983 Copa América

The 1983 Copa América was held in various countries, as the tournament was played as home-and-away matches. It was the 32nd edition of the tournament.

The tournament saw the participation of the ten CONMEBOL nations—Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela.

In the final, Uruguay emerged victorious by defeating Brazil 3-1 on aggregate over two legs, securing their 12th Copa América title.
