The Tour Down Under is a world class road raciong cycling event held in South Australia, Australia. The event comprises six stages, and passes through beautiful beaches to classic vineyards, through the city of Adelaide and iconic South Australian regional towns.
In 2009 the event reached international interest as Lance Armstrong expressed he interest in competition in the 2009 event as part of his comeback. The 2009 event was held between 18-25 January.
