The National Avocado Launching Championship is held in North Platte, Nebraska. It’s quite literally what it sounds like, launching avocados at a target with your team's man-made launching apparatus. Or, if your blueprints aren’t coming together, you may simply use a water balloon launcher.

Teams of up to three competitors have the opportunity to win fame, glory, bragging rights, and money! The top 4 finishers are awarded checks.
