Here is the player sprint competition held during half-time at the 2007 AFL Grand Final. It was a handicap event for the second time. The winner was Richmond player Jake King, who started from the front marker (2m), as it seems like most of the other competitors. This is the best footage I could find, though it does give you an idea of what the view would be like if you were at the game.

Ablett seems to be the official winner, but watching the video it is not clear who crosses the line first. The commentators are unsure and the video stops before the winner is announced. The prize money was $1000 for 1st, $300 for second and $200 for third.
