The Stanley Cup is awarded to the winners of the National Hockey League (NHL) playoff series. There was no Stanley Cup awared in 1919 (due to the series canceled due to the Spanish Flu empedemic) and in 2005 due to the NHL lockout that season. The team with the most titles is the Montreal Canadiens with 24.
