The 10th FIFA Women's World Cup will be held in Brazil in 2027. The tournament will include 32 teams as was the case at the 2023 World Cup. The defending champions are Spain.
The tournament will comprise a group stage, with eight groups of four teams. The top two teams from each group will progress to the knockout round of 16.
It is expected that the Maracanã Stadium will play a major role in the tournament.
