Top Paid Sports People
The top athletes in the world can earn excessive amounts of money, not only from prize money and salaries, but endorsements and appearance money. Forbes and Sports Illustrated are two magazines which publish annual lists of top paid athletes, and as they are based on different criteria and formula for determining the lists, the order and composition of the lists can be different.
there is a lot of money in NFL- Forbes Lists — list of the highest-paid athletes in the world according to Forbes Magazine, published since 1990. Also the highest paying sporting events.
- Sportico Lists — list of the highest-paid athletes in the world according to Sportico, published since 2021.
- Sports Illustrated Lists — The Sports Illustrated magazine has been publishing lists of top paid sports men and women since 2004. They have published the Fortunate 50 (the top paid sports people from the USA) and the International 20 (top paid athletes outside of the USA). Combining these two, we have created the World Top-10, and extracted lists of the top paid female athletes.
