Singapore at the Olympics
Singapore first competed at the Olympic Games in 1948. -
In 1964, Singapore participated at the Games as part of the Federation of Malaysia.

Singapore did not send a team in 1980, deciding instead to join the large Olympic boycott.

Singapore have only once won an Olympic medal. Weightlifter Tan Howe Liang won a silver medal in lightweight weightlifting in 1960.
